INTRO TO OIL PAINTING WITH MAUREEN MERRELL
This six week course is scheduled for fall 2025
Fridays 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
Classes will be held September 5, 19, 26 and October 17, 24, 31
 
Limited enrollment of ten spots. Maureen will teach the basics of oil painting: panels, canvas, gesso, toning, mixing colors, cleaning up, brushes and other mark-making tools, direct and indirect painting methods, glazes and painting media, and varnishing. To reserve your spot, venmo your non-refundable tuition of $300 to @jkrgallery and email your contact information to jkrstudioacademy@gmail.com. Maureen will provide a list of materials you'll need to bring.

This class is open to the public. You can walk in and participate whenever it works for you. Erin will give feedback if you ask her for it. The cost of this class is $15 each session, which you can venmo directly to @jkrgallery. The address is 1675 N Freedom Blvd, Bldg 6B, Provo. Bring the materials you want to work with. Easels and drawing horses are provided.
