join us for an open house art show, featuring recent work by j. kirk richards (click here to see kirk's work). original artwork will be available for purchase, ranging in price from $1000 to $30,000. at 7:00 pm there will be a discussion with the artist. a drawing for door prizes will take place at 8:00 pm. a percentage of all sales will go directly into the dfw foundation scholarship fund, benefiting college students across the dallas fort worth metroplex. in lieu of an admission fee, we request a donation to the scholarship fund. donations are tax deductible in accordance with federal laws.

the art of j. kirk richards has appeared in the ensign and liahona magazines, in byu studies, and on the cover of jeffrey r. hollands book entitled broken things to mend. brother richards currently lives and serves in the woodland hills ward in the salem utah stake. join us for a fireside featuring kirk's work and experiences painting christ-centered themes.

STILL LIFE WORKSHOP FOR INVITED STUDENTS
monday, december 12, during school
fort worth academy of fine arts

we will spend two three hour sessions working up an oil painting from a still life. we'll focus using color, edges, and contrast to give emphasis. we'll work on mixing colors and working with medium.
